Faith Organisations

Faith-based organisations engage with local communities for the benefit of donors and recipients of aid, by adhering to the moral imperative to provide assistance to all people in need often regardless of faith, upholding humanitarian standards and principles, and also reinforcing a foundation of trust between the public and faith organisations.

Working for a faith-based organisation is likely to suit you if you have a strong belief system yourself and are driven to support people because of your personal moral compass.  Often, a faith organisation will be a calling and you will feel compelled to apply for these roles.  Be aware though that faith-based work should not be viewed as a easy option as often these groups will be working with the most challenging communities.
