Job Title: Trust Support Worker
Location: Dacorum Community Trust, The Forum, Hemel Hempstead.
Reports to: The Manager
Standard Work Hours: Tuesdays and Wednesdays 10am to 4pm, Fridays 11am to 2pm.
Purpose of Position: To support applicants through the interview and assessment process

Key Accountabilities:
· Interview clients in person or on the phone
· Identify and recommend plans of support for clients
· Participate in team discussions about client support and relevant actions
· Complete all associated paperwork and update client databases
· Follow a clean desk policy (e.g. securing confidential information)
· Liaise with external agencies as part of client applications (e.g. Dacorum Borough Council, Social Services, Citizens Advice Service, South Hill Centre)
· Assist the Trust manager with delegated tasks
· Oversee the office during working hours as required
· Deal with enquiries in person, answer the office phone and respond to email queries
· Attend weekly team meetings
· Meetings with external agencies
· Represent the Trust at key community networking and fundraising events
· Support volunteers within our Trust

· Strong verbal & written communication skills
· Resilience – able to work under pressure and deal with applicants who are upset or anxious
· Be self-driven & pro-active
Competencies:
· Respond to client enquires in a timely manner
· A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
· Fast and accurate data entry skills
· Competent report writer
· Excellent phone manner
· Be a self-starter who shows initiative
Qualifications & experience:
· Office IT skills (e.g. Microsoft office and Excel)
· Working knowledge of social media platforms
Key Performance Indicators & Conduct Requirements:
· High professional standard of client service, ascertained through feedback from clients and partner agencies
· Display a ‘can-do’ attitude when assisting clients
· Maintain client confidentiality
Additional Information:
· In this role when the manager is away or on leave you will be expected to assume responsibility for the daily office duties
· There may be opportunities to work remotely when undertaking specific IT duties
· Complete mandatory training as required
