Permanent Position – starting pay £27,810 p.a.

Resolve Mid Herts (Welwyn Garden City) Drug & Alcohol Day Service

Resolve is a growing registered charity [Charitable Incorporated Organisation CIO] providing community drug & alcohol treatment services, supported crisis homeless accommodation and support for homeless individuals and community work across the Mid & North of Hertfordshire.

We are looking for someone to join Resolve’s developing leadership Team to lead Resolve’s Mid Herts D&A Service (Based in Welwyn Garden City) and develop and deliver Resolve’s Projects and Services across Hertfordshire as part of Resolve’s ongoing expansion programme.

Demonstrable knowledge and experience of drug and alcohol harm reduction and treatment service delivery are key requirements of this post. The ability to work with vulnerable adults with medium to high support needs is essential, requiring effective listening skills, excellent communications skills, empathy and flexibility.

This role is also responsible for managing a team of up 6 staff, including volunteers, as well as the smooth running of the Mid Herts Centre. Competent IT skills and the ability to motivate and develop a team are important.
