MacIntyre No Limits

It is all about creativity and making memories!

At MacIntyre, we take pride in our work and are dedicated to making a meaningful impact. Our commitment to the people we support is reflected in everything we do, our DNA and values.

We are full-time female Support Workers to join the supportive and friendly team at our Supported Living Service in Hemel Hempstead. We are looking for proactive people who can share their passions and interests five fantastic adults who have learning disabilities.

Are you patient, approachable, resilient and fun? Do you enjoy cooking, music, arts and crafts, walks in parks, going to the gym, gardening? The people we support enjoy all of these and you would be supporting them to make the most of these activities enabling them to live gloriously ordinary lives!

We do require you to be a driver with a UK manual licence so that you can support them on trips out in their cars. The shifts are 7am – 2.15pm, 2 – 9.15pm working one weekend on and the next weekend off.

Your interest in joining our remarkable team is truly appreciated and it speaks volumes about your commitment to making a positive difference in the lives of individuals facing unique challenges.

We are more than happy to share our culture, activities and the fulfilling journey that the people we support and staff experience. If you would like to learn more please contact us.

We look forward to the possibility of working together and creating a positive impact on the lives of our people, we support; you bring the passion and the values and we will provide the training.

About you

Of course, we welcome you if you have been a care assistant or support worker, but experience is not necessary. If you share our values, are warm, friendly and willing to learn, you are likely to be a great fit.

You must be a driver with a UK Manual driving licence.

Due to the nature of this service, we can only accept applications from female candidates

We are looking for people who celebrate differences, and we strive to make all our staff feel included, valued and respected.
