We are looking for an approachable, non-judgemental and kind person to join Viewpoint as a Project Involvement Lead. We are a safe space for many service users who are in recovery from mental health and addiction challenges and we need someone who will put these individuals at ease and support them on their journey.

Location: Hybrid working to be discussed at interview.
Predominantly based in Viewpoint’s office: Weltech Business Centre, Ridgeway, Welwyn Garden City, AL7 2AA with expected travel around Hertfordshire.

Hours and salary: 22 hours per week, WTE Salary £25,974

Pension: Following a three-month period of employment, Viewpoint will contribute a sum equal to 5% of your annual salary to a pension provided that you contribute at least 3% of your annual salary to the pension scheme.

Annual leave: Annual leave will commence following six months probationary period and will rise to 25 days plus 8 Bank holidays.

The Project Involvement Lead will work with the Viewpoint team, pool of lived experience facilitators and local communities to establish unmet needs and agree on a way forward for our organisation and the wider community.

The post-holder will enable the participation of people experiencing mental health and/or addiction challenges in all aspects of the planning, delivery, and monitoring of services and to ensure they are provided with the relevant training, support and resources to participate effectively.

The post-holder will work with individuals from all communities to develop new and innovative ways to reach harder-to-reach people. For example, people from travelling communities and farming communities. This role is crucial in reaching out and providing person-centred support.

The post-holder will also work with the Viewpoint team and a pool of experienced facilitators to develop a strategy for the organisation in order that the lives of those with mental health and / or addiction challenges can be continually improved.
