Payment Processing Officer
Herts Interpreting and Translation Service
BACKGROUND:
Herts Interpreting and Translation Service (HITS) is a major provider of interpreting and translation services to local authorities and the NHS in the home counties and East of England. Due to increased workload, HITS wish to recruit a highly-motivated and skilled individual with a proven experience in finance and data processing, to become a member of its Finance team at its offices in Hemel Hempstead.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Payment processing of Assignment forms
- Monthly Activity Reports and Invoices
- Liaising with customers and interpreters
- Answering queries from Customers and interpreters
- Creating self-employed/Payroll interpreter’s payment reports
- Reconciliation and Booking reports
- Credit Control
- Provide support to Manager with Management Reporting
- Other general financial/office tasks as and when required
PERSON SPECIFICATION:
The successful candidate will be able to evidence the following:
- Computer literate – competent in the use of Microsoft Office, internet and e-mails
- Well organised, flexible and efficient
- Ability to work additional hours as and when required
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent IT Skills (including experience of working with databases and email systems)
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent telephone manner
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent numeracy skills
