We are a dynamic and growing consultancy, with 2 staff members, building a pool of associate consultants and trainers and volunteers to support the delivery of our work. We do:

  • Learning and development,
  • Facilitation,
  • Change and transformation
  • Evidence and insight. Our team work remotely and attend team meetings in Hertfordshire or London a couple of times a year, and deliver in-person and online services across the UK all year round.

We are seeking a Training Consultant who can work closely with the team to develop and embed high-quality training and facilitation systems and practices at ARH/ OKTB. You will ensure robust, high-impact delivery aligned with client objectives. Your role will involve tackling complex equity, diversity, and inclusion-related challenges in the children and young people sectors through innovative, evidence-informed solutions, skills, and tools.

As an Associate Trainer, you will support the development and delivery of training programs that enhance skills and knowledge. You will work closely with senior trainers and team members to facilitate learning experiences that align with organisational goals and promote a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the design and development of training materials and programs
  • Facilitate and deliver training sessions and workshops in various formats (in-person, virtual, etc.). At times independently, at times as a co-facilitator
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and provide feedback for continuous improvement
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices in anti-racism, education, children’s social care and training and development
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure accurate and relevant content
  • Monitor participant engagement and provide support to learners during training sessions and workshops
  • Assist in the administration of training logistics, including scheduling, room setup, and material distribution
  • Collect and analyse feedback from participants to measure training impact and effectiveness
  • Stay informed about company policies, procedures, and product knowledge to ensure training aligns with organisational standards

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Human Resources, or a related field preferred
  • Previous experience in training or teaching
  • Previous experience in education, children’s social care or the youth sector
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to present information clearly and effectively to diverse audiences
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with e-learning platforms and systems
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Passion for learning and a desire to help others grow
