COMPANY AND FINANCE ADMINISTRATOR

Job Title – Company and Finance Administrator

Reports to – Head of Participation and Inclusion, and Fundraising Manager (Grants)

Responsible for – Any relevant volunteers

The position is to support the overall running of the organisation, providing administration and operational support, ensuring the company runs as efficiently and smoothly as possible. We are seeking someone with a positive attitude, attention to detail, and willingness to ‘muck in’ when needed to support colleagues. HIT is a small charity with staff, freelance creatives, and trustees all highly dedicated and motivated by the big impact they know and see that HIT has on its participants: the fun, fulfilment, friendships, confidence, and sense of belonging that may be lacking elsewhere in their lives. Terms of Employment
Hours: The post will initially be for 28 hours per week, which can be worked over three, four, or five days. The post will include ‘out of hours’ morning, evening, and weekend work for which an informal TOIL system operates.
Salary: £25,500 Full time (£17,836 Pro rata equivalent for 28hrs per week)
Place of work: The HIT Office is based at Trestle Arts Base, Russet Drive, St Albans, AL4 0JQ.

We offer flexible and hybrid working, but the role will need to attend the office on a regular weekly basis. The role requires the applicant to regularly visit workshops and performance venues around Hertfordshire and North London.

DBS Check:
The successful candidate will need to hold a current enhanced DBS(Disclosure and Barring Service) check or be willing to undergo one.
Company Administration

To administrate the day-to-day running of the HIT office, oversee the main HIT email address, attend and minute monthly staff meetings, supervise office volunteers, keep relevant paperwork and databases in order, and provide executive support, email, and diary management to the CEO.

Financial
Banking, maintain financial records, track and administer incoming and outgoing invoices, manage petty cash, and process gift aid claims.
