Community Engagement Manager (Maternity Cover – Fixed Contract)

Herts Inclusive Theatre are looking for a part time Community Engagement Manager to join their small Hertfordshire-based team on a 10-month fixed term contract to cover Maternity Leave.

The Community Engagement Manager’s responsibilities include supporting the income generation of the organisation by finding and managing commissioned projects with councils and other organisations; the content of the inclusion training; speech bubbles programme and other school project work; storytelling and other creative promotional events; and the staff, freelancers, and volunteers annual training programme.

The role would primarily be based at the HIT Office which is currently in St Albans, we do offer flexible and hybrid working. The role requires the applicant to regularly travel between the office and workshop/performance venues around Hertfordshire and North London.

The post will be for 18 hours per week worked over two, three or four days, there is an expectation that most of this is carried out between 9am – 5pm but flexibility is available. This is a fixed-term 10-month contract between 1st October 2024 and 31st July 2025.
