Our aim is to be the first port of call for people in Dacorum who are facing homelessness, poverty and social exclusion; to support and empower them to take the next positive step in their lives.
We ensure individuals have access to temporary and short-term accommodation, and individuals and families have access to emergency food and provisions. We provide accommodation options to support people to move on and sustain their own tenancy and we provide advice and training; empowering people to develop their skills and build confidence.
We are searching for a Coffee Project Manager to join our Social Enterprise team. This is an exciting opportunity to develop the DENS Coffee Project into a successful social enterprise, and support vulnerable clients to learn new skills and improve their employment prospects. The successful candidate will have supervisory or management experience in catering or hospitality with a focus on coffee, and the knowledge, expertise and confidence to develop a mobile coffee business from the ground up whilst imparting barista & customer service skills onto others. You will be responsible for raising the profile of the coffee project in the local area and maximising opportunities for revenue, as well as empowering clients to take the next positive steps to rebuild their lives.
This role involves driving the DENS Coffee Project van to multiple locations. As such a full clean driving licence and a minimum of two years post passing driving experience is essential. We take the safeguarding of our clients seriously and as such this role is subject to a DBS check.
