The Communications & Marketing Officer has a vital role to play in planning and delivering communications to key stakeholders including supporters, volunteers, and staff.
The post holder will initiate, write, edit, co-ordinate and publish content across various channels, including the website, social media, and print and online marketing materials. They will have an understanding of the segmentation of our stakeholders and tailoring communications and marketing to maximise engagement. Using this knowledge and skillset they will also plan and implement communications and marketing campaigns to raise awareness or funds, while progressively improving organisational understanding of what works for different audiences.
As an independent charity providing varied and complex delivery throughout the borough, this role is vital in ensuring our impact is seen, our volunteers are celebrated and that awareness of our services is improved via the creative use of print, social media, PR and marketing.
RESPONSIBILITIES
To provide and deliver planning and delivering communications to key stakeholders including supporters, volunteers, and staff. for our award-winning Charity.
• Develop and implement CHEXS’s Marketing & Communication strategy.
• Oversee the organisation’s website.
• To maintain and develop CHEXS social media platforms.
• Prepare and create regular newsletters via MailChimp
• To create and execute integrated marketing and communications plans to support fundraising events, campaigns and third party fundraising.
